Meet Amber. The Founder of Rural Care Co.
"I believe care should feel personal, steady, and rooted in dignity — no matter what season of life you’re moving through."

Amber Thibault is a Palliative Nurse, Birth Doula, Educator, and long-time community advocate who has spent over a decade supporting families through both the beginning and end-of-life chapters. Trained as a holistic Doula and Registered Nurse, she blends clinical expertise with a deeply compassionate, relationship-centered approach. Her work spans in-home birth and palliative support, public speaking, teaching, and mentoring the next generation of caregivers.

Rooted on my family’s fifth-generation ranch in Central Alberta, I understand rural life intimately — the distances, the tight-knit communities, and the unique challenges families face when accessing care. Rural Care Co. was born from a commitment to make high-quality, heart-led support more accessible to the people and places I love most.
